Privacy Policy
How Device Fix Guide handles site logs, search activity, advertising technologies, consent choices, emails, and privacy requests.
Effective date: August 7, 2026
Information processed when you visit
Our hosting and security provider may process IP address, device and browser information, requested URLs, timestamps, and security signals to deliver and protect the site. The on-page error-code search runs in your browser against a static index; search text is not sent to a Device Fix Guide database.
Advertising and consent
Device Fix Guide may use Google AdSense after the site is approved. Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and—only where allowed by your consent choices—personalization. Where required, a Google-certified consent management platform will present choices before relevant advertising storage is used.
Analytics
We may use privacy-conscious traffic measurement or Google Analytics to understand page use and improve coverage. This policy will be updated with the deployed provider and available opt-out controls before analytics is enabled.
If you contact us, we receive the email address and content you provide. We use it to respond, investigate corrections, prevent abuse, and maintain necessary records. Do not include appliance serial numbers or unrelated personal information.
Your choices and requests
You can use consent controls where displayed, limit cookies in your browser, and contact contact@devicefixguide.com for an access, correction, or deletion request relating to information you submitted directly. Rights and exceptions vary by location.
Changes
We will revise the effective date and this page when deployed services or practices materially change.
